2019: Muscatello arrived in full-force as a freshman, finishing second on the team in goals (five) and third in points (11). She had a multi-goal game in just her second career start: a 4-1 handling of Nichols on September 1. USJ made it to the GNAC Quarterfinals with a 10-6-2 record, but were defeated by St. Joe's (Me.) on penalty kicks. Muscatello assisted on a goal in the contest.
Before USJ: Muscatello was a multi-sport student-athlete at Berlin High School in Berlin, Conn., playing soccer, basketball and track. The Redocats made the CIAC State Tournament each year of Muscatello's high school career, including a runner-up finish, and two trips to the semifinals. Muscatello was also an eight-time Central Connecticut Conference (CCC) Champion (three soccer, five track). As a senior, Muscatello and the Redocats qualified for the New Balance National Track and Field Indoor and Outdoor Championships. She was also a winner of numerous awards, including all-state in track, all-conference five times (four track, soccer), a New Britain Herald All-Herald selection twice in soccer, and a member of the Hartford Courant's All-Courant team in indoor track. Muscatello was involved in several school clubs, and was even a four-year member of the CCC All-Academic Team.
