SEASON BY SEASON
2021:
Before USJ: Zup arrived at USJ by way of Berlin High School in Berlin, Conn., where she was a four-year soccer and softball player for the Redocats. Zup collected a multitude of individual and team awards across both sports. She was a first-team all-state selection. She was also a member of the All-Central Connecticut Conference (CCC) team four times (two soccer, two softball). The Redcoats won the CCC Title four times with Zup in the lineup (two soccer, two softball), and as a freshman, shocked the high school soccer world with a state championship appearance in 2017 as a 20-seed in the tournament, knocking off top-seeded Lewis Mills, 2-1, in the CIAC Girls Soccer Class M Semifinals. Zup was a three year softball captain and one-time soccer captain. In the media, she was a two-time All New Britain Herald recipient, the Hartford Courant Varsity Athlete of the Week, and a part of the Fab 15 (Softball). In the classroom, Zup made the CCC All-Academic Team four times, and was a member of the National Honors Society and Rho Kappa Social Studies Honors Society. Zup spent much of her time volunteering in her community both in and out of sports.
