2020: N/A
2019: Banta continued to impact the game on the defensive end, starting 17 of a possible 18 games. She finished second on the team wiith two assists on the season. The Blue Jays won 10 games and made the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Semifinals, before falling to Saint Joseph's (Me.) on penalty kicks.
2018: Banta was one of four players to start all 16 games, and her defensive prowess helped her make the All-GNAC Second Team. USJ finished 7-8-1, and took the top-seeded Lasell Lasers to double overtime in the GNAC Quarterfinals, but lost in heartbreaking fashion, 2-1.
At USJ: Banta is also a member of the lacrosse team, where she led the Blue Jays in goals (35) and draw controls (66) in her freshman season.
Before USJ: A native of Montville, Conn., Banta played four years of varsity soccer and lacrosse at Montville High School. She won Eastern Connecticut Conference (ECC) honorable mention her junior and senior years on the soccer field. As a lacrosse player, defense was her identity, winning defensive player of the year four straight seasons, and leading the Indians to the ECC Division III Championship as a junior. She also made first-team All-ECC twice (2017-2018). Banta was a high honors student her entire high school career, winning multiple school awards.
