
Felix-Hull Named GNAC Goalkeeper of the Week
WINTHROP, Mass. – Sophomore Jaci Felix-Hull (East Lyme, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) field hockey team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Goalkeeper of the Week, it was announced by the conference front office Monday afternoon in its fifth weekly report of the 2024 season. It marked the first career weekly honor for Felix-Hull and the fifth for the Blue Jays this season.
Felix-Hull was a force in the cage, guiding the Blue Jays to a 2-0 record on the week, including a 3-1 victory on the road at Dean College Tuesday night, and a thrilling 2-1 overtime triumph at Lasell University this past Saturday. She began the week by playing all 60 minutes in net for USJ against the Bulldogs, repelling four shots. Felix-Hull matched her save tally against the Lasers, also recording four saves.
The sophomore netminder leads the USJ goalkeeping core through the opening 10 games of the 2024 season which sees the Blue Jays' record stand at 6-4 overall and 3-2 in conference play. Felix-Hull currently paces Saint Joseph with a team-best 41 total saves, a .788 save percentage, a 1.93 goals-against average and one shutout. She also boasts a 3-2 record in the cage for USJ on the year.

Felix-Hull and the Blue Jays return to action on Wednesday, October 2 for a GNAC game at home against Elms College. The action between the Blue Jays and Blazers is set to begin at 6:00 p.m. on the USJ Field Hockey Field in West Hartford, Conn.
