
Swimming & Diving Named CSCAA Fall Scholar All-America Teams
RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been selected by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as Fall Scholar All-America Teams, it was announced by the association. The men and women posted spring team GPA's of 3.48 and 3.62, respectively, to earn the honors. In total, 781 teams from 459 institutions were named to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2024 semester. These teams, representing a total of 19,209 student-athletes, were chosen based on their outstanding academic performance during the specified semester.
To earn this prestigious recognition, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) above 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester. Of the selected teams, an impressive 654 recorded a GPA of 3.30 or higher, qualifying them for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.
USJ and Regis were the lone teams from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) to receive the honor on both the men's and women's sides. WashU (NCAA Division III) men and Catawba College (NCAA Division II) women led all divisions with GPAs of 3.83 and 3.89, respectively.
