Big First Half Lifts Women's Soccer to Senior Day Win, 5-1

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's soccer team used a big first half to defeat the visiting Anna Maria College AMCATS (ANM), 5-1, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) match on Senior Day on a beautiful fall Saturday afternoon at the USJ Soccer Field in West Hartford, Conn. The Blue Jays scored four first-half goals and then each team potted a goal in the second stanza to account for the final decision.
