Before USJ: Jackson attended Newington High School in Newington, Conn., where she played four years of soccer, and a year of tennis. She was a member of the Central Connecticut Conference (CCC) All-Academic team four straight years, and won two CCC Titles on the soccer field. Her greatest accomplishment came in what was the biggest contest of her career, scoring the game-winning goal in the second round of the 2016 CIAC Girls Soccer Class LL State Tournament. The freshman propelled the now newly named 'Nor'easters' to a 1-0 win over seven-seeded Amity. Newington went on to lose to Suffield, 4-0 in the quarterfinals. NHS had a 46-18 record in her four years on the team. Jackson was also a standout off the field, serving as a member in groups like the National Honor Society, and the Math, Science, English, Italian, and Music National Honor Societies. Jackson was also a member of other school clubs, and participated in unified sports. The high-honors student has spent much of her time volunteering in and around her community.
