WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's lacrosse team dropped its 2025 home opener, 18-5, to the visiting Eastern Connecticut State University (ECSU) Warriors during intrastate non-conference action Tuesday evening at the USJ Lacrosse Field in West Hartford, Conn. ECSU jumped out of the gates fast, building a 7-1 lead after the first quarter and eventually an 11-1 advantage at the end of the first half, and USJ could not recover. With the result, the Blue Jays dropped their second consecutive game and fell to 1-2 overall on the season, while the Warriors remained perfect in their 2025 campaign and improved to 3-0.
