
LeGault Named GNAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week
WINTHROP, Mass. - Sophomore attack Anna LeGault (Colchester, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's lacrosse team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week, it was announced by the conference front office Monday afternoon in its first weekly report of the 2025 season. It marks the fifth career weekly conference honor for LeGault, her first career Player of the Week nod, and the first weekly award for the Blue Jays this season.
LeGault helped power the Blue Jays to a 21-14 season-opening victory at Bard, scoring a career-high eight goals while dishing out one assist to lead USJ offensively in the victory. In addition to her scoring numbers, LeGault also tallied three ground balls, two draw controls and one caused turnover against the Raptors. Additionally, with her nine-point outing, LeGault also eclipsed the 100 point mark for her career. The sophomore now has 102 career points in 18 career games with 58 career goals and 44 career assists.
