Women's Lacrosse Cruises Past Mitchell on the Road Wednesday, 20-2

NEW LONDON, Conn. - The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's lacrosse team cruised past intrastate non-conference opponent Mitchell College, 20-2, in its first road contest of the 2023 season Wednesday afternoon in New London, Conn. Five different Blue Jays had multi-goal games in the triumph, led by senior Makenzie Dinger (Hingham, Mass.), who potted a game-high five goals. With the victory, the Blue Jays improve to 2-0 on the season, marking the first time in program history Saint Joseph has won its first two games to open up a new campaign. The Mariners were contesting in their 2023 season opener and drop to 0-1 on the young season with the setback.
