NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - The University of Saint Joseph was stymied by the visiting Saint Joseph's College of Maine Monks, 20-0, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's lacrosse match held on Arute Field on the campus of Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) in USJ's home opener under the lights Tuesday night. With the loss, the Blue Jays fall to 0-2 overall and 0-2 in the GNAC while the Monks remain unbeaten and improve to 6-0 and 3-0 in league play.
