Wildcats Top Blue Jays, 23-3

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The University of Saint Joseph lacrosse team came up on the short end of a 23-3 game against Johnson & Wales Tuesday in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference game at the SMG Athletic Complex.

Johnson & Wales improved to 8-5 overall and 5-1 in the GNAC. USJ is 4-9 overall and 1-6 in conference play.

Rose St. Hilaire (West Hartford, Conn.) scored two goals for St. Joseph and Hannah Lemek (Bristol, Conn.) had one. Allison Pazienski (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) scored four goals to lead lead the Wildcats, who received goals from 12 different players.

JWU had a 39-6 advantage in total shots and led 15-0 at halftime.

USJ next hosts St. Joseph's College of Maine, Sat. April 23 at 2 p.m.
