NORTHFIELD, Verm. – Danielle Bazzano (South Windsor, Conn.) and Rose St. Hilaire (West Hartford, Conn.) scored goals, but the University of Saint Joseph lacrosse team dropped a 15-2 Great Northeast Athletic Conference game Tuesday at Sabine Field at Haynes Family Stadium.
Norwich improved to 3-4 overall and 1-2 in the GNAC; USJ is 3-4 overall and 0-3 in conference play.
Norwich opened up a 10-0 lead before Bazzano (South Windsor, Conn.) drilled a shot into the back of the net to put the Blue Jays on the board. The Cadets would put up three more in the first half to lead 13-1 at the break. St. Hilaire scored the final goal of the game with 16:23 remaining.
