D3HOOPS ALL-REGION I RELEASE

Players were nominated for the 23rd season of D3hoops.com All-Region teams by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools, and schools and conferences were each contacted multiple times as the season wound down to remind them to make their players eligible. There were 812 players nominated nationwide. The ballot was then made available to SIDs, who voted for a predetermined number of players in their region. The regional Rookie of the Year award honors the top freshman in each region, while D3hoops.com also names a regional Coach of the Year.

Division III basketball is organized into 10 regions. A region with 40 teams or more has three All-Region teams honored, while a region with fewer than 40 teams has a first and second team. This reorganization results in approximately 10 additional players being recognized when compared to full seasons in the eight-region alignment. Players from these lists are eligible for the D3hoops.com All-America teams. The teams will be released March 16, at the national championship game.

Ouellette was named to the All-GNAC First Team after a stellar 2023-24 campaign, marking the third consecutive year she received all-conference accolades after being selected to the All-Second Team a year ago, and the All-GNAC Third Team in 2021-22. Ouellette was a force for USJ this past season, leading the team in scoring, dropping 16.6 points per game, and in rebounds, hauling in 8.8 boards per game. The forward has etched her name into the program's record books, starting with securing her 1,000th career point, becoming the 10th player in USJ women's basketball history to eclipse the mark. In addition, she ranks sixth all-time in career points (1,257), fifth in career rebounds (653), and tenth in career blocks (55).
