HOLYOKE, Mass. -- University of Saint Joseph senior Heather Framski (Prospect, Conn.) scored 16 points, including the 1,000th of her career as the Blue Jays defeated Bay Path 70-41 Tuesday in a non-conference basketball game at the Bartley Center.

USJ improved to 2-1 overall; Bay Path is 0-3.

Framski entered the game with 984 points and her final basket of the game gave her an even 1,000, becoming the seventh player in school history to reach the milestone. After scoring 14 first-half points, she made a short transition jumper in the lane, 3:31 into the second half off a feed from Lindsay Feducia (Beacon Falls, Conn.) Feducia also fed Framski with her 1,000th high school point four years ago when the two were teammates at Woodland Regional.
