Zup Named to CSC Softball Academic All-District Team
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Sophomore Jenna Zup (Berlin, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) softball team received College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District honors, the organization announced Tuesday.
The 2023 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be an Academic All-District® honoree, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore at their institution and have spent at least one full year at that particular school, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above, and have played at least 50 percent of their team's contests as a starter or important reserve.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early June.
