
Senior Cross Country Standout Braeden Laframboise Wins O'Shenanigans 5K
SOUTHINGTON, Conn. - Senior Braeden Laframboise (Southington, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's cross country team took home the victory during the O'Shenanigans 5K, breaking his own course record with a blazing time of 15:35, this past Saturday in his hometown of Southington, Conn. The 5K, which is organized by the Hartford Marathon Foundation, was the first of four St. Patrick's Day themed O'races, and featured a fast 3.1 mile course through rural roads in Southington and Cheshire.
Laframboise is no stranger to the O'Shenanigans 5K, as the senior standout won the race in both 2023 and 2024 as well. The Southington native beat his own course record, which he set during the 2023 rendition of the race after finishing in a time of 15:43.
