
Cross Country Announces 2024 Schedule
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's and women's cross country teams and first-year head coach Courtney Hackman have announced the schedule for the upcoming 2024 season. The Blue Jays are set to compete in seven meets, leading up to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships, hosted by and held at Norwich University.

The Blue Jays stay close to home to open up the 2024 campaign, heading to Keney Park in Hartford for the University of Hartford Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, September 7. USJ then heads up to Boston on Saturday, September 21 for the 56th annual Codfish Bowl at Franklin Park.
Following the opening two meets of the season, the Blue Jays remain in Massachusetts to round out the month of September with a trip to Amherst, Mass. for the Founding Tree Invitational, hosted by Hampshire College, on Saturday, September 28.
When the calendar flips over to October, Saint Joseph remains in the Bay State, traveling to Westfield, Mass., for the James Earley Invitational, hosted by Westfield State University at Stanley Park, on Saturday, October 12. The Blue Jays then return back to its home state for the final tune up meet before the GNAC Championships, heading to nearby Stanley Quarter Park in New Britain, Conn., for the CCSU Mini Meet on Saturday, October 25.
The Blue Jays then begin championship season, which kicks off with the GNAC Championships on Saturday, November 2 at the Norwich University Cross Country Course on the campus of Norwich University in Northfield, Vt. The team's then round out the season with a trip to Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Conn., for the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships on Saturday, November 16.
