Laframboise, Shores Compete at NCAA Mideast Region Championships

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Junior Braeden Laframboise (Southington, Conn.) and sophomore Faith Shores (West Simsbury, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) cross country team rounded out the 2023 season at the 2023 NCAA Mideast Regional Championships, held at Stanley Park in Westfield, Mass. Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Laframboise was the highest placed Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) runner in the men's 8K, finishing in 114th place after posting a time of 28:06.30.
  • Shores finished the women's 6K in 135th place, crossing the line in a personal record time of 25:30.3. Her time was an impressive 34-second improvement over her previous PR. Her finish also made her the highest placed runner in the GNAC.
