Laframboise Named GNAC Runner of the Week for Second Consecutive Week

WINTHROP, Mass. - Junior Braeden Laframboise (Southington, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's cross country team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Runner of the Week for the second week in a row, it was announced by the conference front office on Monday afternoon in its seventh weekly report of the 2023 campaign. It marks the eighth career GNAC weekly honor for Laframboise, the third for him this season, and the fourth for the USJ cross country team this year. 

OFFICIAL GNAC RELEASE 

Laframboise continued his record-breaking 2023 campaign, breaking the program's 8K record that he set at the James Earley Invitational by four seconds during the Connecticut College Invitational this past Saturday. Laframboise was the lone Blue Jay in the men's blue 8K race, finishing in 126th place with a new program record time of 26:40.80.

UP NEXT 

Laframboise and the USJ cross country team begins championship season with the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships on Sunday, October 29. Hosted by Saint Joseph's College of Maine at the SJC Cross Country Trail in Standish, Maine, the event is slated to start at 11:00 a.m.
