
Men's Swimming & Diving Finishes Third at GNAC Championships
WORCESTER, Mass. – The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's swimming and diving team concluded the 2025 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) championships inside the WPI Sports & Recreation Center in Worcester, Mass. Sunday night, finishing in third place after tallying 180 points across the three-day meet. The Blue Jays combined for four medals on the day and finished with 14 overall.
TOP PERFORMANCES
- 100 Yard Free – Freshman Alex Carrier (Farmington, Conn.) paced the team with a fifith-place finish after posting a time of 50.80 seconds.
- 50 Yard Breaststroke – Freshman Nate Brasky (Madison, Conn.) took home the silver medal after touching the wall in 28.19 seconds.
- 1650 Yard Free – Graduate student Joseph Guerin (Bristol, Conn.) eanred the bronze medal, recording a time of 19:01.15.
- 100 Yard Back - Freshman Chris Capen (Wilbraham, Mass.) won the silver medal, posting a time of 58.38 seconds.
- 200 Yard IM - Freshman Aiden Hebb (Waterbury, Conn.) finished in fourth place, posting a time of 2:06.27.
- 400 Medley Relay - The team of Capen, Brasky, Hebb and Carrier brought home the silver, finishing second after combining for a time of 3:54.36.
