Hebb Named GNAC Men's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week

WINTHROP, Mass. – Freshman Aiden Hebb (Waterbury, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's swimming and diving team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week it was announced by the conference front office on Monday afternoon in its tenth weekly report of the 2024-25 season. The honor marks the fourth time that Hebb earned a weekly conference accolade this season, and in his career.

Hebb continued his record-breaking campaign, setting a new program record in the 1-Meter Diving (Six Dives) with a score of 186.59 points during the Blue Jays dual meet against Gordon College this past Saturday. The freshman also won the 200-yard breaststroke for the Blue Jays, touching the wall in a time of 2:21.96.

UP NEXT

The Blue Jays round out the 2024-25 regular season on the road at intrastate foes Eastern Connecticut on Saturday, January 25. The dual meet against the Warriors inside the ECSU Sports Center in Willimantic, Conn., is set for 1:00 p.m.
