Hebb Named GNAC Men's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week

WINTHROP, Mass. – Freshman Aiden Hebb (Waterbury, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's swimming and diving team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week it was announced by the conference front office on Monday afternoon in its eighth weekly report of the 2024-25 season. The honor marks the third time that Hebb earned a weekly conference accolade this season, and in his career.

Hebb continued his record breaking campaign, setting new program freshman records in the 100 and 200 yard beaststroke and the 200 yard IM at the Jayden Szkirka Memorial Championships this past weekend. He finished 31st in the 100 breaststroke, recording a time of 1:02.50, while finishing 20th in the 200 breaststroke, tallying a time of 2:16.17. He rounded out his weekend by placing 26th in the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.39.

UP NEXT

The Blue Jays take the rest of December off before heading to Florida for their annual training trip. USJ will head to Deerfield Beach, Fla., from January 3 through January 10.
