
Hebb Earns GNAC Men's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week Honors
WINTHROP, Mass. – Freshman Aiden Hebb (Waterbury, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's swimming and diving team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week it was announced by the conference front office on Monday afternoon in its fourth weekly report of the 2024-25 season. The honor marks the second time that Hebb earned a weekly conference accolade this season, and in his career.
Hebb led the Blue Jays to a double-dual meet sweep over GNAC foes Albertus Magnus College and Saint Joseph's College of Maine on Saturday, winning three events. The freshman started his day by swimming on the winning 200 yard medley relay team. Hebb followed up the opening event by winning the 200 yard IM, posting a time of 2:13.66. He then continued his record-breaking campaign, also winning the 200 yard breaststroke and breaking the program's freshman record in the event with a new best time of 2:22.64.
UP NEXT
The Blue Jays head on the road, traveling to nearby New Britain, Conn., for the Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) Sprint Meet on Friday, November 8. Held inside the Jack Suydam Natatoirum on the campus of CCSU, the meet is slated to begin at 5:00 p.m.
