Men's Swimming & Diving Competes in Day Two of GNAC Championships

WORCESTER, Mass. – The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's swimming and diving team continued the 2024 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) championships on Saturday, maintaining the team's fifth-place standing, recording 19 points after the second day of action inside the WPI Sports & Recreation Center in Worcester, Mass.

TOP PERFORMANCES 

  • 500 Yard Free – Senior Joseph Guerin (Bristol, Conn.) was the lone Blue Jay, finishing in sixth after touching the wall in a time of 5:29.07.
  • 50 Yard Back – Senior Andrew Parisi (Ellington, Conn.) paced the Blue Jays, recording a fourth-place finish with a time of 33.94 seconds. Senior Tim Magill (Staten Island, N.Y.) also recorded points, finishing in sixth in a time of 37.24 seconds.

UP NEXT
The Blue Jays conclude the GNAC Championships tomorrow, Sunday February 4. Prelims begin at 10:00 a.m. inside the WPI Sports & Recreation Center in Worcester, Mass., with finals beginning at roughly 6:00p.m.
