Men's Swimming & Diving Falls on the Road at Gordon Saturday

WENHAM, Mass. – The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's swimming & diving team fell on the road at Gordon College, 120-25, Saturday afternoon during a non-conference dual meet inside the Bennett Center Natatorium in Wenham, Mass.

TOP PERFORMANCES

  • 200 Yard Free – Senior Tim Magill (Staten Island, N.Y.) was the lone Blue Jay, finishing in third with a time of 2:24.78.
  • 50 Yard Back – Senior Andrew Parisi (Ellington, Conn.) finished in second place, touching the wall in a time of 37.38 seconds.
  • 50 Yard Breaststroke – Senior Joseph Guerin (Bristol, Conn.) recorded a third-place finish, recording a time of 32.27 seconds.
  • 50 Yard Free – Magill paced USJ, finishing in third with a time of 28.53 seconds.
  • 100 Yard Free – Guerin lead the Blue Jays, placing third with a time of 56.86 seconds.
  • 500 Yard Free – Guerin was the lone Blue Jay, finishing in second in a time of 5:46.97.

UP NEXT

The Blue Jays return to West Hartford to round out the 2023-24 regular season on Friday, January 26, for a dual meet against intrastate foes Eastern Connecticut. The dual meet against the Warriors is slated to begin at 5:00 p.m. inside the Bruyette Natatorium. The meet will also serve as Senior Day for the USJ swimming & diving team.
