Men's Soccer Sets Program Record in 10-0 Win Over Lasell

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's soccer team scored a program-record 10 goals to defeat the Lasell University Lasers, 10-0, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) match Saturday afternoon in the Blue Jays' home debut on the newly renovated turf USJ Soccer Field. With the victory, the Blue Jays improve to 5-1-0 overall on the season and 2-0-0 in the GNAC, while the Lasers slip to 1-7-0 and 0-2-0.

Sophomore Hayden Burbank (Southington, Conn.) powered the offensive onslaught with three goals and an assist for a career-high seven-point game and logged his first career hat trick. Six different Blue Jays scored in the contest and three Blue Jays had multi-goal games led by Burbank's hat-trick. USJ outshot Lasell 28-0 and held a 16-0 advantage in shots on goal.
