Andrew Fink, who was named the first head men's lacrosse coach in USJ history, prior to the Blue Jays debut season in the Spring of 2020, enters his 5th season as Head Men's Lacrosse Coach at USJ in 2024, following the program's first appearance in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament Championship Game in 2023. As a head coach, Fink has made the playoffs in every season (no postseason in 2020 due to COVID-19 Pandemic).

The Blue Jays have consistently improved under the leadership of Fink, improving upon their record in every season, culminating with a program best 11-9 mark in 2023. During the 2023 season, FInk guided the Blue Jays to their first ever appearance in the GNAC title game as the sixth seed.

Fink arrived at USJ in 2018, utilizing his coaching and fitness background among a variety of roles, including serving as interim head women's lacrosse coach in the spring 2019, and the head men's and women's cross country coach, beginning in the fall of 2019.

Fink spent the previous 16 seasons at Mount Ida College, where he was the head men's lacrosse coach for 15 of those 16. He has compiled an overall lacrosse head coaching record of 178-100 (See year-by-year below), and currently holds the record for most wins as a head coach in the GNAC with 63.

While at Mount Ida, Fink led the Mustangs to eight conference championships, including an astounding six in a row in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC), and back-to-back in the GNAC. His teams made four trips to the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse tournament in 2007, 2008, 2011 and 2012. He is a three-time Coach of the Year, earning the honor as NAC Coach of the Year in 2004, 2009 and 2010, and as the GNAC Coach of the Year in 2011. Fink was also dubbed Mount Ida College's Coach of the Year three times (2009, 2011, 2015).

In 2017, Fink led Mount Ida to a 14-5 record, including an eight-game winning streak, en route to the GNAC championship game for the fifth time in seven years since joining the league. It also marked the eleventh season in which Fink and the Mustangs appeared in their conference title game, as they made seven appearances in the NAC championship, winning an astounding six conference titles in a row from 2004 to 2009. His 2007 NAC championship team, which earned the first NCAA tournament bid in program history, was inducted into the Mount Ida College Athletics Hall of Fame in 2014. 

While members of the NAC, Fink compiled a regular season conference record of 56-1, and began a streak of eight seasons with double-digit victories, including a program-record 15 wins in 2012, repeating as GNAC champs in just their second year in the conference. 

Fink and his coaching staff will be presenting for an unprecedented 11th time at the U.S. Lacrosse National Convention in Philadelphia in 2020. Previous topics included, "Offense vs. Defense - Strategy and Adjustments", "Team Defense", "Man-Down Defense", "Wing Offense", and "Defensive Sets", and "Team Defense Playing Angles and Throwing Quality Checks".

Working with Championship Productions, he has also created several instructional videos, including his best-seller, "Building a High-Pressure Zone Defense," which utilizes his expansive knowledge of the game. He is also been the owner and operator of Xcel Lacrosse since 2005. 

Fink has even skippered a travel team and has been to Amsterdam, Czech Republic, Prague and Berlin, Germany to compete in the Prague Cup. 

Fink played his college lacrosse at the University of Hartford, graduating in 2001 with a degree in communications from the College of Arts and Sciences. As a four-year varsity player and three-year starter, Fink primarily played defense for the Hawks. In his junior campaign, the Hawks earned the American East Conference regular-season title.

A graduate of Rocky Hill High School in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, Fink earned all-league and all-state honors in lacrosse.

Andrew and his wife Noelle reside in Cumberland, Rhode Island with daughter Micah and sons Meyer and Malakai.
