COACH QUOTE [Andrew Fink]
"We were lucky to play today with the weather, but Mitchell got the field ready. I thought the guys came out a little slow and worked through the opener. The guys ended up setting a great tempo. It is great when you can get a win against a Connecticut team and in doing so play all 33 guys, and you walk out healthy. Everyone played, everyone's healthy, now we move on to the next one."

GOALIE BREAKDOWN

MC – Freshman goalie Steven Turchetta (Oakdale, Conn.) took the loss (1-2), allowing 12 goals and making six saves in 30 minutes of play. Freshman stopper John Grieco (North Branford, Conn.) allowed nine goals in the second half along with four saves.
