Bio

Begins his fourth season as an assistant coach for the USJ men's basketball team entering the 2023-24 season. Laffin is responsible for opponent scouting reports and film breakdown, and is integral to all practice work, game strategy, player development, recruiting, and operations. Jim Calhoun and Glen Miller brought Laffin on staff after he graduated from USJ with his BA in Business Management and an MS in Management in 2021. Laffin was a member of USJ's inaugural men's basketball team in 2018-2019 and the 2019-2020 team that won the program's first-ever GNAC Championship and appeared in the NCAA Tournament. Before USJ, Laffin played for two years at Saint Michael's College in Vermont. He also currently works as the Student Activities Programming Coordinator in the Student Affairs office at USJ.
