Altenor Earns National Recognition, Named to D3hoops.com Team of the Week

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - After earning his first career Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week nod yesterday, junior guard Lence Altenor (Everett, Mass.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's basketball team garnered national recognition, as he was selected to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week Tuesday morning. It marks the third-ever D3hoops.com Team of the Week honor in USJ men's basketball program history, as Altenor joins Jalen Samuels and Tyree Mitchell, who earned the honor during the 2023-24 season. In its 28th season, the Team of the Week is D3hoops.com's weekly honor roll, which recognizes the top performance at each of the five positions across Division III men's and women's basketball from the previous week.
