PAXTON, Mass. – The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) field hockey team picked up its first win of the 2023 season, defeating the Anna Maria College AMCATS, 3-1, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) road contest held at Caparso Field in Paxton, Mass. Tuesday night. With the victory, the Blue Jays move to 1-3 overall on the year and 1-1 in GNAC play while the AMCATS dip to 1-3 overall and 1-2 in league action.

Field hockey returns back to West Hartford for its next contest, welcoming GNAC opponent Simmons University to the USJ Field Hockey Field on Saturday, September 16. The action between the Blue Jays and Sharks is scheduled to get underway at 12:00 p.m.
